We think the Clear Spot Wi-Fi router is one of the more interesting aspects of the CLEAR WiMAX service coming to Austin soon. The CLEAR home modem is actually a Motorola CPEi 150 and was designed as the plug-and-play desktop indoor WiMAX modem. This is Wave 2 Ready Solution for Wireless broadband and operates in the 2.5GHZ band. Plug the ethernet cable into your computer, power it on and automatically connects to the WiMAX network and authenticates itself for easy setup.
